Make grocery shopping less annoying
One of the things I hate the most about grocery shopping is when you have to provide a coin to get a shopping cart. It’s 2024, who carries coins anymore? Even then, some stores require a quarter while others require a dollar just for the privilege of getting access to a cart for the purpose of spending money at their business. Ridiculous.
I know why they do this though. Some people are so lazy that they can’t spare an extra minute to leave the cart at a collection station once they’re done. By giving them an incentive (get your coin back), stores hope that you’ll not leave the cart in the middle of the parking lot, only for it to randomly ram into other customers’ vehicles.
If you are one of those people, stop. You are a nuisance to society and should be ashamed of yourself.
As someone who is not a nuisance to society, I find this practice extremely annoying. I routinely forget to carry coins or don’t have the right coins with me when I go shopping. I then have to resort to scouring my car for spare change or worse, ask a stranger for help.
I thought there has to be a better way and found it!
Behold the STOBOK cart token. It’s a simple piece of metal designed to unlock shopping carts. It works with carts that accept both quarters and dollars. Did I mention that a 4-pack costs just $5.991?
Just add it to your keychain or toss one in your wallet, and you’ll never have to worry about having the right change on you ever again.
